Ring of the Ancients is a multi-author fan fiction archive for Stargate SG-1 and Stargate Atlantis stories based on any of the characters from the shows. We accept stories of all Ratings and Genres.

Our categories for posting are as followed (note the first five are doubled, one for each show):
Gen (ATL) - Fanfiction in the Stargate Atlanits fandom that does not contain any romantic relationships between the characters. Stories are generally mission-related without any romantic subplot.
Gen (SG1) - Fanfiction in the Stargate SG-1 fandom that does not contain any romantic relationships between the characters. Stories are generally mission-related without any romantic subplot.
Het (ATL) - Ship stories in the Stargate Atlantis fandom that include one male and one female in a romantic/sexual relationship.
Het (SG1) - Ship stories in the Stargate SG-1 fandom that include one male and one female in a romantic/sexual relationship.
Femslash (ATL) - Slash stories in the Stargate Atlantis fandom that include two females in a romantic/sexual relationship.
Femslash (SG1) - Slash stories in the Stargate SG-1 fandom that include two females in a romantic/sexual relationship.
Slash (ATL) - Stories in the Stargate Atlantis fandom that include two males in a romantic/sexual relationship.
Slash (SG-1) - Stories in the Stargate SG-1 fandom that include two males in a romantic/sexual relationship.
Threesomes/Moresomes - Fanfiction that contains relationships between three or more characters, (e.g. female/male/female or male/female/male). They may or may not involve graphic sex. Triangles may be included in this category. ( I.E. Elizabeth/John, Elizabeth/Ronon.)
Crossover - Stories that cross characters, pairings, or team-related missions between SG-1 and Atlantis.

The archive is open to all for browsing and reading stories, but if you'd like to add your work to the site, save authors as your favourites or review a story, you must have your own account. Member accounts are free and easy to register.

Everything is automated, so you can post your stories, review and rate other stories instantly. Currently stories are not moderated, so please make sure your story is beta'd before posting to the site. We are not overly strict and expect absolute perfection, but we would like to see that you have made an effort to correct any possible grammar, spelling and punctuation problems with your story first.
